The eternal disconnection between body and mind/spirit and the incessant search for the place where things supposedly make sense is the research territory that this project inhabits. We are crossed by distances and borders in a disorganized and increasingly fragmented world. Is it possible to feel complete in this shattered landscape of the world that is us? How can we articulate the flows of body and thought? How can we close our eyes when our thoughts are boiling in our toes?

 

In a world where the present time seems to be the only possible time to be inhabited, the insistence on it makes us erase the past and the idea of the future. This play seeks to reveal the fractures that exist in the eternal search for this supposed state of wholeness, where the experience of happiness is consumed.

 

It's a great trap that each of us demands of ourselves to be whole in the present moment at all time, since the world is a broken and consumed place. By revealing the fractures in this illusion, what we are doing is destroying them in order to build possibilities.
