The duo BÁRBARA FAUSTINO and JANICE IANDRITSKY was born when the two dancers crossed paths in Lisbon. There, they encounter common issues and problems: the body in the place of distance, the migrant body; the dance in times of confinement and closed borders; the desire in times of tension between the collective body and one's own, between community and individualism.
After having worked as authors on other projects, they founded HIDRA: a mythical monster, a constellation that crosses the equator and unites their desires. They investigate common movement material and concepts linked to this encounter, in order to think about the scene.
