JANICE IANDRITSKY
Janice Iandritsky (AR) is a dancer, performer and teacher of dance, tango and has a degree in Choreographic Composition from the Universidad Nacional de las Artes (Buenos Aires). In 2015 she joined the "Compañía de Danza Contemporánea de la UNA", with which she danced at the Bienal Arte Joven (Buenos Aires, 2016 and 2017), Festival Ciudanza (Buenos Aires, 2016), Festival de Danza Contemporánea de Buenos Aires (Buenos Aires, 2017), among others.
In 2019 she joined the TangoArt Company directed by Ariane Liautaud. In 2020 she moved to Lisbon, where she worked as a choreographer and dancer in the Tango Opera "Maria de Buenos Aires" (Piazzolla/Ferrer), co-produced by the Cistermúsica Festival and the CCB (2022) and as a dancer and performer in the piece "Lisbon, my Lisbon! " by Congolese choreographer Faustin Linyekula, at Teatro Dona Maria II (2022), and in the piece "La Procession" by French choreographer Nacera Belaza, at Casa da Danca in Almada (2022).
She is currently researching contemporary dance and popular expressions, from which she created the solo "Fondo", presented at the A-Salto Festival (Elvas, 2021) and the Rascunhos Festival (Evora, 2022); the dance and tango workshops, "Tango na BOTA", together with the organization of the milonga "Milonga La de BOTA" (B. O.T.A, Lisbon, 2020 - present); the tango practice "La Orillera" (BUS, Lisbon, 2022 - present); and the Workshop "Tango sin Zapatos", which she shared at Fábrica Braço de Prata (Lisbon, Portugal, 2023), La Pina Submarina (Valencia, Spain, 2023), La Piazza dell'erbe (Carrara, Italy, 2022) and Studio InTango (HangZhou, China, 2023).
