LAVA.PÓ.NADA.
Who are you? I asked the desire.
It answered: lava. then dust. then nothing.
(Hilda Hilst, 1930-2004)
Our bodies are built out of the listening of our desires. We constitute ourselves as human begins in the moment the body begins, understood as the instaurator of the abyss that separates one man from another.
We are crossed by distances and borders. We are migrants. Foreigners. Immigrants. A woman is a body. The other woman is another body. We dare to blur the boundaries and reinvent the frontiers in order to listen to the desires of our time, our spaces and our own bodies.
Today, we cannot avoid the fundamental question that we reflect in movement: what to do with this body that we are?
